The brief
An international ISTQB gathering coming to the Philippines — two host cities, delegates flying in from around the world, and a lot of practical questions to answer before anyone books a flight. The site had to feel like an occasion and work like a wayfinding desk at the same time.
What we built
- A full event site — Agenda, Schedule, Speakers, Venues, Hotel, Tours, Travel, News and Register.
- A photographic ocean hero that places the assembly in the Philippines from the first scroll.
- Coordinate and gold-seal motifs that carry the wayfinding-and-destination feel across every section.
- Registration built into the journey, so interest turns into a delegate seat.
Styling
Deep teal with gold on a bone base, with Fraunces set over photography and Inter and JetBrains Mono carrying the body and labels. Editorial and destination-grade — the type feels like a conference programme, not a landing page.
Build
Static site on Netlify with a multi-section event information architecture and an editorial serif system. Fast to load, self-contained, and structured so an international delegate can find any answer in a scroll or two.
Outcome
A credible, wayfinding-first hub for international delegates — one place that sets the tone of the assembly and clears every logistical question between "interested" and "registered".
